How close did the fire come?

On google maps, it shows that the fire came withing two thousand feet of our place. It circled us on three sides, basically surrounding the valley. San Diego WildFIre Update

Great news,
Mandatory evacuations for our neighborhood were lifeted at 11:30 this morning. We returned home, and everything is here. The fire burned on three sides of our neighborhood, and took out a couple of the homes up on the hill.
